This blender screams quality and style! - Pete Shepherd Yuhas - 30/01/2015
Consider BERG if you are shopping for a powerful blender, it's arguably a Vitamix killer. It outperformed our Blendtec with ease. It has more power and doesn't shout about it all. I mean that it is much quieter at max speeds than our old blender. It has an ingeniously designed jar and blades. Than there are 6 programs to choose, they slow down and speed up in sequence hence all is sucked down towards the blades. We have been throwing in whole apples, carrots and even small pumpkins to really challenge it! We didn't need to use the rod yet (and to me it was a huge deal-breaker, which put me off the Vitamix blender). This one is just as good with soups and smoothies (no burning smells whatsoever). Motor seems very strong and it has a 7 year warranty just to keep that mind at peace :). Overall we are very pleased with this Goliath of a blender (yes it is bigger, taller and wider than Vitamix and Blendtec and it has to be bcs it's a blender on steroids:)! - Something for tech nerds: Berg motor rotates at 40.000rpm - compared to 37.000rpm (Vitamix), 28.000rpm (Blendtec). - Blades are indeed made of stainless steel and they have "teeth", just like those kitchen knives that stay always sharp. - It has a beautiful red metallic coating, chrome touches and the display has blue illumination so in my opinion it's more stylish than Vitamix!
